Covid-19: All private offices in Delhi to be 'closed'
Coronavirus Delhi Update: All private offices in Delhi would be closed, except those which are falling under the exempted category, the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) stated on Tuesday. Meanwhile, the DDMA has directed private offices to follow work from home. All restaurants and bars have also been directed to be closed while takeaways have been allowed, DDMA stated in its revised guidelines. Also read | Delhi orders closure of private offices; Here's list of those exempted Amid the surge in Covid-19 cases, Delhi reported a total of 46 fatalities in the last five days, out of whom 34 infected patients died due to comorbidities, according to the state health bulletin data giving coronavirus update. Delhi on Monday reported 19,166 new Covid-19 cases, the highest since May 5 last year.
As many as 15,68,896 people have been infected with Covid-19 infection in Delhi so far. With these 19,166 new cases, the active caseload has gone up to 65,806 in Delhi which is the highest May 15 last year.
