Coronavirus vaccine could be ready in a month: Donald Trump
US President Donald Trump on Tuesday said that a coronavirus vaccine may be available within a month. He added that the coronavirus pandemic could go away by itself. During a town hall question-and-answer session with voters in Pennsylvania aired on ABC News, Donald Trump said that “We’re very close to having a vaccine." He said that “We’re within weeks of getting it you know -- could be three weeks, four weeks.” Earlier, speaking to Fox News, Donald Trump had said that a COVID-19 vaccine could come in “4 weeks, it could be 8 weeks.” According to the Democrats, Trump is putting political pressure on the government health regulators and scientists to approve a 'rushed' vaccine in a bid for re-election against challenger Joe Biden on November 3.
