British Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Friday said that he has been tested positive for the novel coronavirus. Boris Johnson took to Twitter and wrote: "Over the last 24 hours I have developed mild symptoms and tested positive for coronavirus. I am now self-isolating, but I will continue to lead the government’s response via video-conference as we fight this virus. Together we will beat this."
He stated in a video that he developed the mild symptoms of coronavirus. However, it was tested positive and hence he is doing self-isolation. He has become one of the most high-profile leaders to have tested positive for the pandemic, which has so far claimed more than 24,871 lives across the world.

UK Health Secretary tests positive too
In a video posted on Twitter, the health secretary Matt Hancock confirmed he has tested positive for coronavirus. He took to Twitter and wrote: "Following medical advice, I was advised to test for #Coronavirus. I‘ve tested positive. Thankfully my symptoms are mild and I’m working from home & self-isolating. Vital we follow the advice to protect our NHS & save lives."

Prince Charles, the eldest son, and heir to Queen Elizabeth II, also tested positive for the disease and is showing mild symptoms but "otherwise he is in good health", his office had said earlier this week.
Likewise, Swedish climate activist Thunberg, who recently became a sensation, said on Tuesday that it was "extremely likely" she had contracted the coronavirus after experiencing mild symptoms following a trip to central Europe. Prince Albert II of Monaco has also tested positive, although there have been "no concerns for his health" the palace said on March 19.

Finland said Nobel laureate and former Finnish president Martti Ahtisaari, aged 82, has contracted the COVID 19 virus.
