Coronavirus: Punjab records massive spike in deaths due to COVID-19
Coronavirus Punjab Updates: The total number of coronavirus cases in Punjab has increased to 3,51,282 after 5,932 new COVID-19 cases were reported from the state in 24 hours, as of Tuesday evening. Ludhiana recorded 1136 new cases while Jalandhar reported 565, SAS Nagar 828, Patiala 492, Amritsar 431, Hoshiarpur 161, Bathinda 636, Gurdaspur 58, Kapurthala 95, SBS Nagar 67, and Pathankot 118. A total of 3,774 COVID-19 patients in Punjab were discharged after recovering from the deadly disease. With this, the tally has increased to 2,90,716. Among new recoveries, Ludhiana reported 773, SAS Nagar 733, Patiala 201, Amritsar 350, Hoshiarpur 177, Bathinda 433, Kapurthala 81, SBS Nagar 40, Pathankot 108, Sangrur 160, Ferozpur 23, Ropar 62, Faridkot 82, Fazilka 156, Muktsar 51, FG Sahib 59, Tarn Taran 133, Mansa 119, and Barnala 33.
