Coronavirus: Punjab records 726 new COVID-19 cases, 32 deaths in 24 hours
Coronavirus Punjab Updates: The total number of coronavirus cases in Punjab has increased to 5,90,556 after 726 new cases of COVID-19 were reported from the state in the last 24 hours.
Among the new cases, Jalandhar recorded 79 new cases while Hoshiarpur reported 64, Ludhiana 64, Bathinda 54, Amritsar 46, Gurdaspur 43, Patiala 39, SAS Nagar 38, and Ferozepur 36.

Likewise, Faridkot recorded 35 new cases, Fazilka 31, Sangrur 29, Kapurthala 23, Moga 23, Mansa 22, Pathankot 18, FG Sahib 17, Muktsar 17, Ropar 16, SBS Nagar 14, Tarn Taran 10, and Barnala 8.

Punjab recorded 32 Covid deaths across the state in 24 hours taking the death toll to 15,738.
Amritsar added 2 new fatalities, Barnala 1, Bathinda 3, Faridkot 2, Fazilka 2, Ferozepur 1, Fatehgarh Sahib 1, Gurdaspur 1, Hoshiarpur 2, Jalandhar 3, Ludhiana 3, Pathankot 1, Patiala 2, Ropar 1, Sangrur 1, SAS Nagar 2, and Tarn Taran 4.
The total number of recoveries in the state has increased to 5,65,339 after 1,255 new recoveries were reported in 24 hours, the Health Department stated while giving coronavirus updates about Punjab.
Amritsar added 157 new recoveries while Barnala added 19, Bathinda 116, Faridkot 28, Fazilka 53, Ferozepur 23, Fatehgarh Sahib 12, Gurdaspur 40, Hoshiarpur 83, Jalandhar 97, Kapurthala 25, Ludhiana 132, Mansa 45, Moga 30, Muktsar 67, Pathankot 28, Patiala 90, Ropar 36, Sangrur 57, SAS Nagar 70, SBS Nagar 15, and Tarn Taran 32.
