Punjab tally rises to 176 after Mohali, Ludhiana, Pathankot and Jalandhar report new cases
The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Punjab has increased to 176 after fresh cases were reported from Mohali, Jalandhar, Ludhiana and Pathankot on Monday. As per the media bulletin issued by the Punjab Health Department, a total of 6 cases was reported by Monday evening. Mohali reported a new case after which the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Mohali has reached 53. Mohali has reported the highest number of coronavirus cases in the state. Meanwhile, one case was reported from Ludhiana. Likewise, two cases were reported each from Pathankot and Jalandhar. Pathankot has reported 18 cases so far, while Jalandhar tally has increased to 24, the second-highest in the state. As per the bulletin, the state has recorded 12 deaths so far. Meanwhile, 25 people have been cured and discharged in the state so far.
