Punjab: Mohali reports new death due to coronavirus; cases rise to 531
Punjab: The death toll in Mohali due to coronavirus has increased to 11 after the district reported a new death due to coronavirus. According to the information, the district reported 18 new cases of COVID 19. The new cases include: a 59-year-old man from Phase 3A Mohali, 46-year-old woman, a 41-year-old man from Sector 80, a 52-year-old man from Mundi Kharar, 38-year-old man, a 29-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman from Sunny Enclave, Kharar tested positive for the novel coronavirus. Likewise, a 40-year-old woman from Sante Majra, a 50-year-old woman from Sector 127, 2.5-year-old girl and a 22-year-old woman from Kharar, a 35-year-old woman and two men of age 29 and 36 from Derabassi, a 40-year-old man from Zirakpur, a 31-year-old man from Phase 9 and a 63-year-old man from Badanpur Gharuan, tested positive for the contagion disease. The total number of coronavirus cases in Mohali has increased to 531 including 202 active cases while 318 have been cured and discharged while 11 people died due to the pandemic. Meanwhile, Punjab reported new cases of coronavirus that include 50 from Jalandhar, 8 from Ferozepur, 7 from Samana, 4 from Sangrur, 2 each from Moga and Muktsar and one from Faridkot.
