Bapu Dham Colony in Chandigarh reports 6 new cases of coronavirus; UT count 56
Chandigarh has reported five new cases of coronavirus from Bapu Dham Colony, Sector 26 taking the UT count to 56. According to the information, a 36-year-old woman was tested positive for coronavirus. She has 5 children out of which four tested positive. Four children include three daughters aged 18, 16, and 13; and a 10-year-old son. Likewise, another 47-year-old woman was tested positive for coronavirus in the Bapu Dham colony only. All of them have been admitted to the hospital in Sector 16, Chandigarh. Earlier in the morning, five cases of coronavirus were reported from Sector 30. Meanwhile, Chandigarh has reported a total of 11 positive cases on Tuesday. Earlier on Sunday, Chandigarh reported 6 coronavirus cases while 9 cases were recorded on Monday. The coronavirus cases have been rising constantly in the Union Territory. Meanwhile, the UT Adviser Manoj Parida said that "Now I appeal to residents to report against neighbours if they are holding parties/social gatherings /get-togethers, in violation of curfew. Just call 112 or send a video clip as evidence. This seems to be the only way to deal with these enemies of society." According to the information, one of them is a 47-year-old man, who is a brother of Jawaharpur village Sarpanch. -PTC News
