Bharatiya Janata Party leader Ramesh Bidhuri on Wednesday stated that the Congress leader Rahul Gandhi must undergo the process of coronavirus quarantine and sample checking as he returned from Italy recently. It is pertinent to mention that around 2,500 people have been infected with the coronavirus or CVOID 19 in Italy — the most in any country of Europe.
While speaking outside the Parliament, the BJP MP from Delhi said that Rahul Gandhi came recently from Italy. "I don't know if he was checked at the airport, he should go through the check-up to make sure that he is not infected with the virus," he said. As per the report, Rahul Gandhi had been on a rumored vacation until last week.
Coronavirus in India
Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan on Wednesday stated that there have been 28 confirmed cases of coronavirus in India so far. Out of the total 28 cases, one is from Delhi, six of his family members from Agra, one from Telangana, 16 Italians, and their Indian driver. Meanwhile, those who were tested positive in Kerala have been recovered.
No Holi celebration in India this year
PM Modi took to Twitter and wrote: "Experts across the world have advised reducing mass gatherings to avoid the spread of COVID-19 Novel Coronavirus. Hence, this year I have decided not to participate in any Holi Milan program."
Likewise, Home Minister Amit Shah said in a tweet: "Holi is a very important festival for we Indians but in the wake of Coronavirus, I have decided not to participate in any Holi Milan celebration this year.

Meanwhile, the BJP President JP Nadda wrote to all the BJP state presidents, asking them to not hold Holi programs, in wake of coronavirus. He also appealed to everyone to avoid public gatherings and take good care.
Similarly, Delhi CM
Arvind Kejriwal said, "I am also not celebrating Holi this year, because of this (Coronavirus) and the recent violence which took place in Delhi, in which many people lost their lives. People are in pain that is why neither I nor any minister or MLA will celebrate Holi."
