Coronavirus: Chandigarh tally rises to 21 after 2 new cases reported
The total number of confirmed coronavirus (COVID 19) cases in Chandigarh has increased to 21 after two new cases were reported from the Union Territory on Sunday. According to the information, the mother-in-law and an 8-year-old daughter of a 40-year-old man, a resident of Sector 37, Chandigarh who recently tested positive for the pandemic, have diagnosed with the infection. As per the report, his other daughter, a 21-day-old infant tested negative for coronavirus. As per the Chandigarh Health Department, 114 contacts have been traced, out of which 4 are household contacts and 110 are community contacts (Primary, Secondary and Remote Contacts). Among the 4 household contacts 2 are positive, one is negative and another one has been re-sampled. Out of 110 community contacts, 3 primary contacts have been sampled and all these three are negative. Meanwhile, two more primary community contacts are being sampled for coronavirus.
