Contractual employees show black flags to Manpreet Badal in Patiala
Patiala, January 26: Contractual employees on Wednesday showed black flags to Punjab Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal, who was in the city for the Republic Day 2022 celebrations.
Manpreet Singh Badal was in Patiala to unfurl the National Flag on the occasion of Republic Day 2022. During this, a scuffle broke out between police personnel and contractual employees. The police had to detain some protesters.

The protesters said Manpreet Badal had promised to regularise their services, but nothing had been done in this regard.
It may be recalled that the Punjab Government had promised contractual employees to regularise their services but 'nothing has been done'.
