Congress leader Ravneet Singh Bittu opposed, beaten at Singhu border
A big news has come out from the ongoing farmers' agitation on Delhi's borders against agricultural laws. His vehicle was also attacked. While Bittu was being opposed, a chaos was created on the Singhu border. He was accompanied by MLA Kulbir Zira on the borders. In addition, his turban was removed during the attack. Initially, he was stopped to enter the protest by youth saying that farmers do not need political leaders present at the protest but Ravneet Singh Bittu ignored the continuous warning and walked ahead. The youth also said slogans against Ravneet Singh Bittu, saying, 'Go back!' The farmers said that they will not let any political leader speak or address on the stage. Farmers have been protesting at Delhi borders since 60 days. The farmers protest has now intensified and despite 11 rounds of meeting between the protesting farmers and the Centre, no conclusion has come out so far. No date has been fixed for the next meeting. The farmers are also all set to take out a tractors' parade on Republic Day, 26th January 2020.
