Chandigarh: Heavy rainfall lashed out the Tricity and the native areas of Punjab, here on Wednesday. The rainfall was pouring down since the late night on Tuesday. The heavy rainfall has led to the respite from the extreme heatwaves, which have been rising since the past week.

The heavy rainfall has occurred in the area of Chandigarh and the native areas of Punjab including Mohali and the nearby areas.
