Chandigarh e-auction: In a recent e-auction conducted by the office of the Registering and Licensing Authority in Chandigarh, enthusiasts and collectors vied for exclusive vehicle registration numbers from the new series "CH01-CV." 

The auction, which began on July 13 and concluded on July 15, showcased a competitive fervor among bidders, resulting in significant revenue generation for the authority. 

Highest Bid: "CH01-CV-0001"

The vehicle registration series-CH01CV-0001 clinched the top spot, fetching an astounding amount of Rs 24.30 lakh. This impressive bid underscores the value placed on unique and distinguished vehicle numbers by collectors and enthusiasts alike.

Second & Third Highest Bids 

The fancy numbers CH01CV-0009 and CH01CV-0007 fetched the second and third highest bids at Rs 10.43 lakh and Rs 9.35 lakh, demonstrating the continued popularity of acquiring memorable and distinctive vehicle registrations

The auction saw a total of 601 registration numbers being auctioned off, cumulatively amassing a revenue of Rs 2,40,35,000. This substantial figure highlights both the economic significance of such auctions and the appeal of personalized vehicle numbers in the region.
