CBI in Hathras rape case: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Sunday took over the investigation in the gang rape and murder case of Hathras rape victim after registering a case against an accused, the officials said. The CBI spokesperson RK Gaur said that a case has been registered by the CBI on request of the Uttar Pradesh Government and further notification from the Government of India.
