Captain Amarinder welcomes PM Modi's announcement on farm laws
Former Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi's announcement to repeal the three black farm laws.
He immediately took to Twitter and posted his reaction (read below).
Later, his media advisor also took to Twitter, which hints at Captain Amarinder Singh joining hands with the BJP.Great news! Earlier, amid speculation of him joining the BJP, former Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh had met Union Home Minister Amit Shah at the latter's residence in Delhi. The two leaders had reportedly discussed the prolonged agitation by farmers against the Centre's three farm laws, Captain Amarinder Singh's media advisor had said.
