Captain Amarinder Singh announces Malerkotla as 23rd district of Punjab
On the occasion of Eid al Fitr 2021, Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh Friday announced Malerkotla as the 23rd district of the state. Captain Amarinder Singh also announced Rs 6 crore for the development of Malerkotla which has now been declared as the 23rd district of Punjab. For girls, Punjab CM announced a college worth Rs 12 crore. Besides, there will be a bus stand and a separate police station for women. Also, he announced a Medical college worth Rs 500 crore. The announcement came during Captain Amarinder Singh's greeting to the Muslim community on the occasion of Eid 2021.
