Airtel Finance introduces fixed deposits at 9.1% interest rates; read for more details
PTC Web Desk: Bharti Airtel, one of India’s largest telecommunications providers, has launched a new fixed deposits marketplace under its digital arm, Airtel Finance. This marketplace offers fixed deposits at industry-leading interest rates of up to 9.1% per annum, giving customers a secure and high-return investment option.
Airtel Finance has partnered with multiple NBFCs and small finance banks, including Utkarsh Small Finance Bank, Shivalik Bank, Suryoday Small Finance Bank, and Shriram Finance, to provide these competitive fixed deposit rates. Customers can now track and manage their investments safely through the Airtel Thanks App.
Anshul Kheterpal, Chief Business Officer at Airtel Finance, said, “Our Fixed Deposits proposition offers an attractive interest rate, helping customers achieve their financial goals. We are committed to providing a seamless, transparent, and completely digital experience for our customers.”
The entire process can be completed via the Airtel Thanks App with a minimum investment of Rs 1,000.

This service is currently available on Android devices, with iOS support coming soon. Airtel Finance provides additional security as the fixed deposits are insured up to INR 5 Lakh per PAN per bank by the DICGC (Deposit Insurance and Credit Guarantee Corporation), a subsidiary of the RBI.
Airtel Finance also offers customers the flexibility to withdraw their deposits any time after seven days, alleviating concerns about liquidity. Alongside fixed deposits, Airtel Finance’s portfolio includes Personal Loans, Co-branded Credit Cards, Gold Loans, and Business Loans, all available through the Airtel Thanks App.
