Chandigarh, September 27: Former Shiromani Akali Dal senior leader Bikram Singh Majithia slammed AAP leader Sanjay Singh for not appearing in the court on Tuesday afternoon in defamation case. Notably, SAD leader Majithia filed defamation case against AAP leader Sanjay Singh for allegedly making defamatory statements against him during political rallies in the run-up to the 2017 Assembly elections. He further stated that he has full confidence in court and will soon get justice from court. On this occasion, Bikram Singh Majithia says that victory is always true. Majithia says that Kejriwal, Sanjay Singh and Ashish Khetan made false allegations against him. Meanwhile, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal apologized Majithia on the matter. He further alleged AAP government and stated that government is wasting crores of rupees by calling Vidhan Sabha session. He added that government is not paying attention on farmers who are dying. Bikram Majithia said that the people of Punjab need to be informed that if this continues, then in the upcoming future, the water of Punjab will also go to Haryana. Bikram Singh Majithia questioned AAP government that there has been a lot of damage to crops due to rain, who will compensate them? Lakhs of animals have died due to lumpy skin disease, why is the government not giving compensation to the animal breeders?
