Big revelation in Sidhu Moosewala murder case: Ex-Punjab Police official found guilty

Ludhiana: There has been a big revelation in the murder case of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala. Gurmeet Singh, a resident of village Chak Khasa Kulia of Batala, was also involved in the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala. Accused Gurmeet Singh was dismissed from Punjab Police in 2020. Sacked employee and national javelin thrower Gurmeet Singh was in Fortuner along with other gangsters. CIA-2 police brought him to Ludhiana on a production warrant. Police say that the accused has confessed his crime during remand. The police have recovered a 30 bore pistol kept hidden from the accused.   During the interrogation, it has come to light that before the murder of Sidhu Moosewala, weapons were supplied from a Fortuner vehicle on 19 May 2022 and this vehicle was also seen in the CCTV cameras installed at the Dabwali petrol pump. In the police investigation, it has become clear that Gurmeet Singh, the third passenger in this vehicle, could not be identified with Manpreet Singh Mani Raia and Mandeep Singh alias Tufan. After the murder, the Batala police arrested Gurmeet Singh in a case of intentional murder and locked him in jail.
