Big breaking: Explosion at Punjab Intelligence Headquarters in Mohali; area sealed
Mohali, May 9: An explosion was reported at the Punjab Intelligence Headquarters in Punjab's Mohali district late Monday evening.
According to preliminary information, a rocket-propelled grenade (often abbreviated RPG) was hurled on the third floor of the building of the Punjab Intelligence Headquarters in Mohali.
Senior Punjab Police officials were present at the spot when the report was last filed around 10.35pm. The entire area has been sealed. As per the press communique released by the Mohali Police, a low-density explosion was reported at the Punjab Police Intelligence Headquarters in Sector 77, SAS Nagar, around 7:45 pm. No damage was reported. Forensic teams have also been called.
