Sourav Ganguly Health: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president Sourav Ganguly was admitted to Woodlands Hospital in Kolkata following heart issue on Saturday. According to the information, Sourav Ganguly complained of chest pain. However, he will need a procedure and should be out of the woods in few hours. West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee tweeted: "Sad to hear that Sourav Ganguly suffered a mild cardiac arrest and has been admitted to hospital. Wishing him a speedy and full recovery." Dada is stable and is responding well to the treatment." On Wednesday, the BCCI president visited Eden Gardens and discussed the preparations for the upcoming Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy with the president of Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB), Avishek Dalmiya. Meanwhile, the office-bearers of CAB including secretary Snehashis Ganguly and the joint secretary Debabrata Das were also present at the stadium. Earlier this week, Ganguly cleared the rumours regarding him joining politics ahead of West Bengal Assembly elections next year. He stated that he visited state’s Governor upon invitation.
