Barnala 4-year-old rape case: Punjab SC Commission takes SUO-MOTO notice
The Punjab State Scheduled Castes Commission has taken a suo-moto notice regarding the incident of village Dangarh of Barnala district, in which 4 year old girl was raped.

The four year old girl was raped by her neighbor who was a 14 year old minor. He sweet talked the little girl and took her to his house. Later the girl came back and narrated the whole incident to her parents and the family demanded investigation.
Ms. Tejinder Kaur, Chairperson of the commission, said that this was a shocking incident and had come to her knowledge through media reports.

The commission has sought a detailed report from Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Barnala by November 2nd 2020 and also ordered to take stern action against the culprits in the case promptly.
