Baramulla grenade attack: Terrorist lobs grenade at security forces in Baramulla
Baramulla Grenade Attack Ahead of Independence Day 2021: In yet another grenade attack, terrorists on Friday lobbed a grenade at security forces near SBI Bank in Sopore town of Baramulla district in Jammu and Kashmir.
Meanwhile, no injuries have been reported so far in the Baramulla grenade attack while further details are awaited.

Earlier in the day, a terrorist of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) was killed during an encounter in Jammu and Kashmir's Kulgam, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir, Vijay Kumar said on Friday.

"One terrorist has been killed so far. A complete search of building yet to be completed," said the IGP.
Commenting on the Kulgam encounter, Kumar said a major tragedy has been averted before Independence Day 2021.

On Thursday, a 4-year-old child was killed while seven others were injured in a grenade attack on Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Mandal President Jasbir Singh’s residence at Khandli Chowk in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district.
Besides the AK-47 rifles, the security forces recovered rocket launchers and grenades (cells). “A major incident was averted. Congratulations to CRPF, Army, and Police,” IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar said.
Likewise, a hand grenade was found in the residential area of Amritsar, Punjab.
