B-town extends heartfelt greetings on Republic Day 2022
Bollywood celebrities, on the occasion of 73rd Republic Day, took to social media to extend their heartfelt greetings to everyone on Wednesday.
Wishing his fans on the day, megastar Amitabh Bachchan posted a slew of photographs. A few pictures showed him dressed up in white and holding the Indian flag.
Meanwhile, Taapsee Pannu shared an excerpt of the Indian Consitution that came into force in 1950, writing, "Happy Republic Day to the PEOPLE of India #RepublicDay."

Actress Shilpa Shetty also posted a video on Republic day 2022.
"Wishing all my fellow Indians a very Happy 73rd Republic Day. Grateful to be a part of a country that adopted the Constitution of India honouring the diversity of its citizens. Truly "of the people, for the people, and by the people. Jai Hind!" she captioned.
Karan Johar urging people to always celebrate India's constitution, wrote on Instagram, "To the spirit of our republic - may we continue to uphold, cherish and celebrate our constitution - the pillar that upholds the country's values and binds it together in unity! Jai Hind."
Actor Shahid Kapoor also shared a picture of a postal stamp from January 26, 1950, and wished "Happy Republic Day" to his fans.
Furthermore, actor Varun Dhawan extended wishes on Republic Day by painting his cheeks in tricolour and posting a video of him unfurling the flag.
"Had the absolute honour of unfurling the flag. #proudindian," he said.
