B-town celebrates Independence Day 2022 in style, See pictures
Mumbai, August 15: As India celebrates its 76th Independence Day today, superstar Salman Khan took to Instagram to extend warm greetings to everyone on the historic occasion. "Wishing everyone a very happy 75th Independence Day( 75 years of Independence).. Jai Hind," he wrote.

The 'Dabangg' star also shared a picture in which he is seen waving the Indian Flag in his hands while he posed with Indian Navy officers.
Actor Preity Zinta marked the Independence Day in one of the cutest ways.
On Monday morning, Preity took to Instagram and shared a string of adorable images of her twins, Jai and Gia. In the first picture, the 'Kal Ho Naa' star is seen flashing her dimpled smile while posing with the Indian Flag in her hands.
The other images feature Gia and Jai holding the Tiranga in their little hands.
"Happy Independence Day to my fellow Indians all over the world from the three of us #75years of independence #harghartiranga #Jaihind #ting," she captioned the post.
Preity's Independence Day wish has left her fans and followers in awe of the cuteness of her little ones.
"Awww so cute," a social media user commented.
" God bless you and your family," another one wrote.
Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli wished the people on the occassion of India's 76th Independence day and displayed the Indian Flag at their residence in Mumbai, keeping up with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign.
On the 76th Independence Day, Anushka took to Instagram and shared a picture with her husband and cricketer Virat Kohli.
In the picture, the duo is seen standing in front of the flag smiling for the camera.
"Celebrating 75 years of our Independence. Wishing all the Indians around the world a very #HappyIndependenceDay. Jai Hind," Anushka captioned the post.
For the special occasion, Anushka chose to wear a chikankari embroidered kurta, while Kohli opted to don a casual look by wearing a black T-shirt.
Kohli, too, extended Independence Day wishes to everyone.
Taking to Instagram Story and Twitter, Kohli wrote, "75 glorious years. Proud to be an Indian. Happy Independence Day to all. Jai Hind."
He also participated in Modi's 'Har Ghar Tiranga' initiative by changing his social media Display Pictures with Tiranga image.
Actor Sonali Bendre rang in the 76th Independence Day in Atlanta, Georgia.
Taking to Instagram, Sonali shared a glimpse of her Independence Day celebrations. She dropped a string of images in which she is seen waving the Indian Flag along with several other Indians in Atlanta. For the special occasion, she chose to wear an ethnic suit.
"Took a little bit of home to Atlanta... #HappyIndependenceDay," she captioned the post.
