Arvind Khanna
Punjab Assembly Elections 2022: Arvind Khanna is an Indian politician and businessman. He is a member of the BJP. He will contest the upcoming Assembly elections of Punjab from Sangrur. Arvind Khanna was introduced in politics by the Shiromani Akali Dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal in 1997 as general secretary of the district youth wing. He later joined Indian National Congress in 1998 served as a party treasurer, and contested from Sangrur in 2002. Khanna is also a close relative of Captain Amarinder Singh. In 2022, Khanna joined the ruling Bharatiya Janta Party. Punjab Assembly elections 2022 are scheduled to be held on February 20 while the counting of votes will be held on March 10.
