Anupamaa actor tests positive for COVID-19, confirms producer
Anupamaa actor Paras Kalnawat has tested positive for COVID-19, the show’s producer, Rajan Shahi, said in a statement. He said that the actor has been quarantined at home.
Rajan Shahi said that the actor had not shot with the team for the last couple of days. Though he had not shot, the rest of the cast and crew of Anupamaa have been tested after actor Paras Kalnawat tested positive for COVID-19.

Shahi also said that the sets of Anupamaa have been sanitized, according to the COVID-19 guidelines.
The statement added that “The BMC has been informed while the sets have been sanitized as per the protocol. Currently, the actor is receiving medical attention and is under home quarantine."

"I am in touch with him and the entire team as health is our priority. I wish him a speedy recovery," read the producer’s statement.
Anupamaa features Rupali Ganguly in the titular role while the Star Plus daily soap features Paras Kalnawat as Anupamaa’s younger son.
Anupamaa is, currently, one of the most-watched TV shows which even surpassed Bigg Boss 14 in terms of TRP.
