Anganwadi Union president killed in Amritsar
Amritsar, August 30: In a recent murder case, President of Anganwadi Union has been murdered by unidentified people in Baharwal village of Amritsar. The president of Anganwadi Union has been identified as Bibi Paramjit Kaur. She was Anganwadi Union Chogawa and a member of Anganwadi Union Amritsar, had been working for these unions for 20 years. Some unidentified people attacked her with sharp weapons and seriously injured her. When people gathered on hearing the noise, the attackers fled taking advantage of the darkness.
The police reached the spot as soon as they received the information about the murder. The investigation in the case is still underway. As soon as the incident took place, Paramjit Kaur was taken to the hospital but was declared dead.
