X experiences brief outage as thousands of users report service interruptions

PTC News Desk: On Wednesday, the microblogging platform X experienced a brief global outage, affecting thousands of users across multiple regions. The disruption, which lasted only a few minutes, rendered the site inaccessible to many, displaying the message "something went wrong, try reloading" for those attempting to access their feeds.
Outage tracking website Downdetector.com reported a significant number of disruptions. At 9:15 a.m. IST, approximately 915 outages were reported in India. In the United States, the number of reported outages surged to nearly 36,000 by 11:15 p.m. ET (8:45 a.m. IST).
The site also recorded more than 3,300 outage reports in Canada and 1,600 reports in the United Kingdom as of 11:20 p.m. ET (8:50 a.m. IST). Downdetector.com compiles outage data from a variety of sources, including user reports, to provide a comprehensive view of service disruptions.
As of now, the exact cause of the outage remains unclear, and X has yet to provide an official explanation.
