New Hampshire, August 9: Former US President Donald Trump announced his intention to launch the "largest domestic deportation operation in American history" if he is elected again. Speaking at a campaign event in New Hampshire, he emphasised the use of all available state, local, federal, and military resources for this purpose, drawing inspiration from the Eisenhower-Howard model.

Trump portrayed his actions as a response to what he termed an "invasion" of the country. He asserted, "Following the Eisenhower-Howard model, we will use all necessary state, local federal and military resources to carry out the largest domestic deportation operation in American history. Gotta do it."

During the same event, Trump aimed to showcase his commitment to the American people, stating, "I’m being indicted for you." He expressed his refusal to let others curtail his freedom and silence his voice, rallying his supporters by asserting, "They want to take away my freedom because I will never let them take away your freedom."

Throughout his speeches and social media posts, Trump has positioned himself as a "martyr" facing opposition from Democrats and the government on behalf of his followers. This narrative has found resonance among his supporters, with some attendees, like Lorraine Rudd, expressing concerns about potential unjust prosecutions.

Trump's third indictment, related to his efforts to overturn the 2020 election, occurred recently. He characterized the legal proceedings as an "honour" on social media, aligning himself with his supporters and portraying himself as a victim of the criminal justice system.

By casting himself as a target of the legal system and echoing themes from previous investigations, Trump aims to solidify Republican backing around him.
