US mass-shooting: 1 dead and 6 hurt in mass shooting at New York park, says report
According to the Rochester Police, they were called to Maplewood Park at 6:20 p.m. over a report of a sizable crowd and gunfire.
PTC News Desk: Local media said that a mass shooting in a park in Rochester, New York, today resulted in one fatality and six injuries.
At a news conference, Captain Greg Bello of the Rochester Police Department informed the media that officers were called to Maplewood Park on Sunday at approximately 6:20 p.m. following reports of gunfire amid a sizable gathering. They discovered a significant number of people running from the site and numerous persons suffering from bullet wounds.
Five more individuals have been hospitalised with 'relatively minor injuries' as a result of the shooting, according to the police, and a 20-year-old has died. Another person is in critical condition.

According to the police, some patients were taken to the hospital throughout the night in private vehicles, while others were taken there by ambulance. The shooting victim's identification has not yet been made public.
The Irondequoit Police, the Monroe County Sheriffs, the Rochester Police, and the New York State Police were among the police departments who responded to the park.
