US Election results 2024: Millions of Americans voted in the US presidential election on Tuesday to choose whether Democratic candidate Kamala Harris will win the race for the White House or Republican candidate Donald Trump will retain the presidency for the second time.
According to recent estimates, despite exit poll predictions, former President Donald Trump leads in 277 seats, while Democratic candidate Kamla Harris is behind with 226 votes.
Trump has won Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia, South Carolina, and Florida so far while Democrat Kamala Harris won Vermont, Massachusetts, and Maryland, according to the Associated Press.
The former president beat the vice president in deep-red Wyoming, earning three electoral votes from the state with a small population. Donald Trump also carried Arkansas, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Alabama, and Mississippi.
