PTC News Desk: In a significant decision, Donald Trump has chosen Susie Wiles to be next White House's chief of staff. Wiles will be the first woman to hold such prominent position in America's history.


“Susie is tough, smart, innovative, and is universally admired and respected,” Donald Trump said in a statement. “Susie will continue to work tirelessly to Make America Great Again. It is a well deserved honor to have Susie as the first-ever female Chief of Staff in United States history,” he said.



Wile's appointment comes as first announcement post Donald Trump's victory as he is all set to assume Oval office as 47th president of the Unites States. Her selection also marks a historic decision with first ever woman Chief of Staff in America's history. 


Who Is Susie Wiles?

Susie Wiles is the daughter of prominent football player and sportscaster Pat Summerall. She is profoundly described as one of those names who were responsible for Trump's successful presidential bid. She also served as a senior adviser on Trump's 2016 and 2020 bids. Early in her career, she also worked for Republican US representatives Jack Kemp and Tillie Fowler.
