Mystery shrouds deaths of two Indian students in US

PTC Web Desk: In a heart-wrenching incident, two Indian students, G Dinesh from Wanaparthy, Telangana, and Nikesh from Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh, were found dead in their accommodation in Hartford, Connecticut, USA. The circumstances surrounding their deaths have left both families in profound shock.

G Dinesh (22) went to USA for higher studies on December 28, 2023. Joining him a few days later was Nikesh, a 21-year-old from Srikakulam. By an unexpected twist of fate, the two became roommates in Connecticut, USA Unfortunately, the reason behind their deaths remain unclear.

The tragic news was conveyed to Dinesh's family by friends residing in a nearby room. The lack of information regarding the cause of death has plunged Dinesh's family into a state of shock, leaving them in desperate need of support to comprehend the circumstances surrounding this deaths of the Indian students in the US. 

Wanaparthy MLA Megha Reddy has extended a compassionate hand to Dinesh's family during this difficult time, offering condolences and support. In a bid to navigate the complex process of repatriating Dinesh's body to India, the family has sought assistance from Union Tourism Minister G Kishan Reddy and Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy.

The repatriation process involves intricate coordination between Indian authorities and their counterparts in the United States. Expressing his grief, MLA Megha Reddy has taken proactive steps to engage with Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, ensuring necessary arrangements are in place for the dignified return of Dinesh's remains to his homeland.

The plight of Nikesh's family adds another layer of complexity to this sorrowful saga. The Srikakulam district administration and even the police, represented by Special Branch DSP K Balaraju, have no information about Nikesh or his family. This information void compounds the challenges faced by both families in seeking support and assistance during this emotionally tumultuous time.
