Indian family of four, including 2 kids, charred to death in Kuwait fire; Indian Embassy expresses condolences

Kuwait fire accident: The Indian Embassy in Kuwait has expressed deep condolences following the tragic death of an Indian family of four, including two children, who were charred to death in a fire accident in Abassiya, Kuwait.
In a statement posted on X, the Indian Embassy in Kuwait wrote, "Embassy @indembkwt expresses its deepest condolences on the tragic demise of Mr Mathews Mulackal, his wife and 2 children due to fire in his flat in Abassiya yesterday night." The embassy assured that it is in touch with the bereaved family and will ensure the prompt repatriation of the mortal remains.
The fire, which broke out on Friday evening, resulted in the tragic loss of the entire family. The Indian Embassy has emphasised its commitment to supporting the family during this difficult time, ensuring that the necessary arrangements for repatriation are made swiftly.
This incident adds to a series of tragic events involving Indian nationals in Kuwait. In June, a devastating fire at a labour accommodation in Mangaf claimed the lives of at least 45 Indians. The June 12 fire incident resulted in the deaths of seven persons from Tamil Nadu, three from Andhra Pradesh, and one each from Bihar, Odisha, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Haryana, Punjab, and West Bengal, in addition to 23 persons from Kerala.
