Heavy rains in China: 15 dead, 4 missing due to torrential rains
Heavy rains in China: The latest round of torrential rains since Monday had killed 15 people and left four others missing in southwest China's Chongqing Municipality as of 7 am on Wednesday, sources reported.
According to the municipal bureau, the heavy rains have triggered floods and geological disasters, disrupting the lives of more than 130,000 people in 19 districts and counties.

As per the data collected, over 7,500 hectares of crops have also been damaged.
Meanwhile, 400 emergency teams have been dispatched to rescue people stranded in flash floods and heavy rains.
China’s emergency response headquarters allocated allocating more than 29,000 items of disaster relief supplies, including tents, blankets and folding beds.
The finance and emergency management also announced 320 million yuan in emergency funds to aid disaster relief.
President of China, Xi Jingping also ordered authorities to give top priority to ensure safety and security of people.
