Hamas fires 'M90 rockets' at Israel; explosions echo in Tel Aviv
There were rumors of explosions in Tel Aviv, but no casualties were reported.
PTC News Desk: On Tuesday, Hamas' armed al-Qassam Brigades announced they had targeted Tel Aviv and its suburbs with two "M90" rockets. According to the Israeli Air Force, one rocket was detected crossing from Gaza but landed in the Mediterranean Sea without triggering any alerts, while the second rocket did not enter Israeli territory.
Explosions were reported in Tel Aviv, but there were no immediate reports of casualties, Israeli media stated.
Hamas continues to insist that truce negotiations with Israel focus on a pre-discussed deal with mediators. In response, Israeli airstrikes in the central and southern Gaza Strip resulted in 19 Palestinian deaths, according to medics.
The US has indicated that the peace talks scheduled for Thursday are expected to proceed, with Secretary of State Antony Blinken planning visits to Qatar, Egypt, and Israel for discussions. The Israeli government confirmed it would attend the talks, but Hamas is demanding a concrete plan to implement an already accepted proposal instead of further negotiations.
