After establishing himself as successful businessman, he commenced his political career with joining Republican party.
PTC News Desk: Republican candidate and former US President Donald Trump has won state of Pennsylvania that gives him 19 electoral votes, together with wins in two of the other battleground states- Georgia (16 votes) and North Carolina (16 votes). As he clinches close to victory with leads of 266 votes, his political career is under the spotlight.
Designated US president Trump didn't have a political legacy that he, rather his father was a real estate developer. At the age of 22, he started working at his father's company and became company president at the age of 25.
After establishing himself as successful businessman, he commenced his political career with joining Republican party. However, seven times after shifting from party to party, he eventually announced his President candidacy from Republican party in 2016 and swept victory. He defeated Hillary Clinton and became 45th president of the United States.
After a thumping loss in 2020 to Joe Biden, he is once again all set to return to Oval Office for a second and final tenure.
