PTC News Desk: The Vishva Hindu Parishad in Canada denounced the incident and urged the Canadian government to take action against the spread of extremist ideologies.

The group posted on X, saying, "VHP Canada strongly denounces Hinduphobic graffiti & vandalism at BAPS Mandir in Edmonton."

"We urge all levels of Government in Canada to act decisively against the growing extremist ideology propelling hate against peace loving Hindu community in our country," it stated.

This is not the first time that Sikh extremists have vandalised a temple in recent memory with such graffiti. Following the murder of Sikh extremist Hardeep Singh Nijjar, proponents have intensified their anti-Indian actions.
