Bangkok embraces Holi: PM Thavisin highlights festival's role in Thailand-India relations

PTC News Desk: Thailand Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin, along with Indian Ambassador to Thailand Nagesh Singh, presided over the electrifying "Holi Festival Bangkok 2024" at Central World in Bangkok on Friday.

Addressing the crowd, the Thai Prime Minister emphasised the importance of such cultural festivals in strengthening Thailand's long-standing ties with India.

PM Thavisin emphasised the importance of hosting important events in developing strong bilateral relations. "With a mega concert featuring Bollywood rock stars and the largest Diwali festival in ASEAN on the horizon, I urge all Thais to come together as gracious hosts and welcome visitors from across the globe," said the Prime ,inister.

The celebration, adorned with colourful decorations and cultural showcases, served as a vibrant monument to the unity in diversity.
