PTC News Desk: Hand-held radios or walkie-talkies used by the militant group Hezbollah exploded in several locations in Lebanon, killing at least 20 people and injuring more than 450. The highly sophisticated attack comes just one day after a suspected Israeli attack on the group's pagers, which are used for communication among members.

The explosives were reported by Lebanese media to have occurred in Beirut, the Bekaa Valley, and Southern Lebanon. "The wave of enemy explosions that targetedwalkie-talkies…killed 20 people and wounded more than 450," stated the country's health ministry.

While civilians have been injured in these attacks, at least 32 people were killed and over 3000 have been injured in two consecutive attacks that might hamper peace efforts in a region torn apart by the Gaza war.
