World must be more prepared for next pandemic: WHO

While everyone is waiting for an end to the current coronavirus pandemic, the World Health Organisation (WHO) chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has said that the world must be better prepared for the next pandemic. Also, Tedros called on countries to invest in public health. During a media briefing, the WHO Chief said that "This will not be the last pandemic...But when the next pandemic comes, the world must be ready, more ready than it was this time." India, recently, surpassed Brazil to become the second-worst affected country with COVID tally at 4,277,584 out of which, at the time of reporting, 72,816 have died while 3,321,420 have been recovered. -PTC News
