Music composer and singer Wajid Khan's mother Razina has tested positive for coronavirus. Wajid Khan passed away of cardiac arrest at a Mumbai hospital due to the novel coronavirus in the wee hours on Monday. As per the report, Wajid Khan's mother was present at hospital to take care of her son. The 42-year-old Wajid Khan had complications due to the kidney infection. According to the sources, Wajid’s mother Razina had already contracted with the novel virus before Wajid Khan was diagnosed with the pandemic. Wajid, who was suffering from kidney infection and throat infection, tested positive for Covid-19 later, the report added. The source added that Sajid-Wajid's mother is better now and that her condition is improving. Reportedly, she had stayed in Surana Sethia hospital to take care of Wajid Khan. However, she was diagnosed with COVID-19 after she came in contact with other coronavirus patients at the hospital. Music composer Salim Merchant, who shared the news of Wajid Khan's death, said that the composer was hospitalised at Surana Hospital, Chembur where his condition deteriorated.
