Viral: San Francisco man gets hired by Google after 39 attempts

San Francisco, July 27: The famous quote stating that “Patience and continuous Hard Work always pays off” and “Never give up” came true for San Francisco man who never stopped trying to get job in his dream organisation Google. Tyler Cohen inspiring story is viral on social media and is motivating a lot of people as Cohen applied at tech organisation not twice or thrice but 39 times and always faced rejection till July 19. Tyler Cohen, resident of San Francisco worked as Associate Manager - Strategy & Ops at DoorDash before being offered a position by Google. His LinkedIn post is also getting viral all over media, in which he wrote a short inspiring note which reads, "There's a fine line between perseverance and insanity. I'm still trying to figure out which one I have. 39 rejections, 1 acceptance." google5 (1) He also added hashtags like #acceptedoffer, #application etc. The post is trending on all social media platforms and been liked by nearly 35,000 people, and close to 800 users have commented on it. He also shared screenshot of his mails to and from Google which shows that he had applied on August 25, 2019 for the first time but was rejected. Though he didn’t give up and tried to apply twice in September 2019. Again in 2020 during Covid-19 pandemic he tried to apply several times but faced rejection every time until July 19, 2022 when he was selected by Google.
