Vaccination camp for students at Chandigarh's Bhavan Vidyalaya
Chandigarh, April 23: Bhavans Old Students’ Society (BOSS) – the official Alumni network of Bhavan Vidyalaya Chandigarh, organised a Covid vaccination camp for children below 18 years of age on Saturday. The camp was organised at Bhavan Vidyalaya, Sector 27, Chandigarh campus, and over 200 doses of Covid-19 vaccination were administered. Dose 1 and Dose 2 of Corbevax and Covaxin were made available at the camp, which was organised keeping in mind all safety and sanitation protocols. This vaccination drive was made possible with the support of Chandigarh Administration. Vineeta Arora, appreciated the efforts of the BOSS team and applauded their proactive approach. She further appealed all present to follow Covid safety protocols, in view of the increasing number of cases in neighbouring cities. This vaccination camp is the fourth successful one organised by BOSS over the last two years, and has been a heartening exercise. BOSS has actively participated in supporting the needy since the pandemic broke out in 2020, and has vaccinated over 1500 people in the Tricity. Its multiple donations drives and outreach programmes have been appreciated by the Chandigarh Administration and people at large.
