PTC Web Desk: A viral video on Instagram shows two women stranded in the Dubai desert after their vehicle broke down, resulting in a surprising rescue. The duo, lost in the vast expanse of the desert, attempted to use the Uber app to find a ride. To their astonishment, one of the options available was a camel. After booking the unusual transport, a man arrived with a camel, introducing himself as an "Uber Camel driver."

One of the women, visibly amused, hopped onto the camel, while her friend exclaimed, "We actually got lost and ordered a camel!" The camel driver explained his unique job of helping stranded travellers in the desert, stating, "I drive Uber Camel. I help people who get lost."

The video was reportedly filmed near Al Badayer on the Dubai-Hatta Road and quickly garnered attention online. While many social media users were entertained by the bizarre rescue, others questioned the authenticity of the clip. Some called it "fake" and "staged," with comments pointing out a visible road in the background.

One user humorously remarked, "Only in Dubai can you order a camel like it's no big deal," while another added, "For safety reasons, make sure to check the number plate!" However, some skeptics questioned the location, with one user noting, "There are no red dunes in Dubai. You're probably in Sharjah."
