Trending: Jhansi wedding goes viral as bride’s farewell procession features 12 bulldozers

Trending now: In a unique wedding farewell, a bride’s vidai (departure) in Jhansi turned into a spectacle when 12 bulldozers accompanied the wedding procession. While the groom and bride led the procession in a car, the baraatis (wedding guests) followed, dancing atop the bulldozers. The unusual wedding farewell attracted large crowds, with onlookers capturing the moment on their cellphones.

The wedding took place on Thursday at Bihari Marriage Garden on Shivpuri Road. The groom, Rahul Yadav, hails from Sijwaha village, Azad Nagar, and is the son of contractor Munni Lal, who, along with his brothers, owns multiple bulldozers. The bride, Karishma, a graduate, belongs to Khoden village, where her father is a farmer.

On Friday morning, as the bride’s farewell began, 12 bulldozers were lined up at the venue entrance, surprising everyone present. The groom’s family, well-known for their construction business, decided to incorporate bulldozers into the celebration, making it a talking point across the city.

The groom, Rahul Yadav, said, “In Uttar Pradesh, bulldozers are popularly known as ‘Baba Ka Bulldozer’ due to their association with demolishing illegal constructions. So, I thought of including bulldozers in the wedding farewell. Some belonged to our family, while others were from our acquaintances.”

The unique farewell turned heads across Jhansi, with people gathering along the roads to witness the bulldozer baraat that travelled seven km from the venue to the groom’s house.
