PTC Web Desk: In a shocking incident, a man endangered his five-year-old son's life by seating him on the bonnet of a moving car while speeding on National Highway-52 (connecting Punjab's Sangrur to Karnataka's Ankola). The incident, captured on video, occurred near Jhalawar, Rajasthan, as the man drove towards Kota on Thursday.

The video, which clearly shows the child's face and the car's registration number, sparked outrage on social media. Following its circulation, the Jhalawar police identified the car and arrested the driver, Suresh Kumar, a resident of Naya Talab in Jhalawar.

The police said the footage revealed the child seated precariously on the car's bonnet while the vehicle sped along the highway. Though the driver's face was unclear in the video, the car's registration number led them to identify and arrest Kumar within two hours.

The car has been impounded, and the man faces charges of endangering human life. Investigations confirmed that the child in the video was Kumar's own son.

The Jhalawar DSP has urging the public not to risk lives for social media content. "Such reckless behaviour endangers not only oneself but also others on the road," he added.
