'Garba King' Ashok Mali dies of heart attack during performance in Pune | Watch

PTC Web Desk: Navratri festivities in Pune took a somber turn when Ashok Mali, a renowned Garba trainer affectionately known as 'Garba King,' died of  a heart attack during a performance in Chakan. The 50-year-old collapsed while dancing at a lively Garba event.

A video of the incident, which quickly went viral on social media, shows Garba King Ashok Mali dancing energetically alongside his son, Bhavesh, to the popular song "Ghoonghat Mein Chand Hoga Aanchal Mein Chandni" in a packed Garba venue. Initially, he appeared to be enjoying the vibrant atmosphere, but soon after, he became dizzy and fell to his knees.

Spectators rushed to assist him. He was taken to a nearby hospital, but was declared dead upon arrival.
